Race # 1 done

So I had my first race on Sunday in Lethbridge. It was a tough race. The course was new and there was lots of climbing. There were only 2 elite women racing so the good news is I came in second! And won $80.00. I am disappointed with my time, I was quite far OTB (off-the-back) but I guess it is only the first race of the season! My competitor was the Canada Cup winner from the last two years, so it was tough competition.
On the bright side, my new bike was really fun to ride!
